BRAND DEVELOPMENT

Creation & Implementation of Brand Standards

The Brand Standards had a huge impact on the development of the new website as it outlined our visual expectations for the brand and our web developer.

In alignment with the progression of the company’s brand, the new website incorporated pieces of the old website, but provided a new design that complemented the use of white space and imagery. The overall site map and accessibility were simplified to offer greater ease of navigation for users – all while decreasing the bounce rate and increasing time spent on the website.

New Website

The digital design process began with an internal discussion that was then relayed in the form of a broad content mockups. This allowed for NEWMEDIA to finalize the content first before completing outstanding design tasks. Over the course of 3 months, we designed and developed a simplified and modern website that brought a new vision for the Carleton McKenna brand.

The development of the new site involved more dynamic movement with a simplified approach to conveying Carleton McKenna’s financial services expertise. There was a new emphasis on optimizing white space, limiting unnecessary copy and introducing more credible content including case studies, testimonials, and a designated transactions page. As the project lead, we were making great progress in accordance with our chosen Web Developer, NEWMEDIA.

Following the website’s redevelopment in 2019, there was a growing bounce rate and difficulty navigating the site. The necessity for a new website that would generate leads and establish greater credibility after about 4 years with little to no material results. This lead to the process of researching and interviewing various Web Development businesses across the United States.
