Social Media Management

My social media experience spanned platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Though all three platforms remain relevant for B2C marketing, the majority of my experience related to B2B marketing via LinkedIn.
 
Platform strategies ranged from brand awareness to business development and thought leadership.

LinkedIn Followers

Carleton McKenna utilizes LinkedIn as the main social media platform. Under utilized channel capabilities meant the company page had a relatively low number of followers, about 300.

 

After developing a content and branding strategy, the Carleton McKenna LinkedIn page generated more than 700 new followers in the course of 9 months. Additional content and regular posting spread brand awareness and recognition beyond referral sources and previous industry clients.

LinkedIn Content

Quarterly industry reports, award recognition, closed transactions and additional industry-specific content were amongst the main forms of content being posted on the platform. 

Meant to establish brand credibility, posts generated sustained page activity. Content and recognition remained organic throughout the course of platform management.

Brand recognition was slowly developed between 2Q22 and 3Q22 for a more cohesive image relating to the brand colors, office headquarters and business overview.

Content Writing and Research Took Centerfold for Social Media

Using a number of services including IBISWorld, Pitchbook, GF Data and many others, my research and report design process grew over time. ​

 

The goal was the establishment of Carleton McKenna as a thought leader in the financial services and investment banking sectors. Establishment of the brand through reports and social content generated a cohesive identity that became transferable across platforms.
